Terms of Service

The following terms are a legal agreement between you and mycompiler.io ("we", "us"). Your use of the services offered on the website mycompiler.io ("the Service") is subject to these terms. By using the Service, you are entering into a binding agreement with us, and you agree to comply with these terms of service outlined below, and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Minimum age

You must be an adult in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are a minor, we will allow the use of the Service with your parent or guardian's consent. Depending upon your age and jurisdiction, we may require explicit consent from your parent or guardian to allow the use of the Service.

If you are a parent or legal guardian of a user who is a minor, by allowing your child to use the Service, you are subject to these terms and responsible for your child's activity on the Service.

Changes

We may, without prior notice to you, revise these terms. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date given above. It is your responsibility to review these terms frequently and to remain informed of any changes to them.

The then-current version of these Terms will supersede all earlier versions. You agree that your continued use of the Service after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

License to use the Service

Subject to these terms, we grant to you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. Your right to use the Service is limited by all terms and conditions set forth in these terms.

Excluding user-generated content (including programs and comments), all rights, titles, and interests in the Service (including the myCompiler user interface, backend systems, logos, trademarks, and software) are the exclusive property of mycompiler.io.

You may not modify, reproduce, republish, download, transmit, distribute, rent, lease, loan, sell, assign, license, sublicense, reverse engineer, publicly display or create derivative works based on the Service, or any of our content in whole or in part, except as expressly authorized in writing by us.

User-generated content

You are solely responsible for the content you post on the Service.

By submitting content to the Service, you agree to grant an irrevocable, nonexclusive and worldwide license to mycompiler.io to store copies of the content, and to display and perform such content, solely for the purpose of rendering the functionality of the Service.

When you post a program, it is made publicly available, which may allow other users to view, copy, modify and distribute your code. It is your responsibility to ensure that the programs posted are licensed in a way that is compatible with such usage (such as by releasing it under an open source license).

In case you choose to submit content created by another entity, you are solely responsible for ensuring that the content has a license that conforms with these terms.

Restrictions

You will not use the Service in a manner that violates applicable laws and regulations.

In addition, you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:

  1. Rent, lease, or sublicense your access to the Service to another person or entity.
  2. Reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service.
  3. Use automated or otherwise non-approved means to create accounts or post content on the Service. Approved means are limited to direct human interaction with either our webpages or the applications specifically developed by us, or other means explicitly approved by us in writing.
  4. Create multiple accounts on the Service to evade restrictions placed on your account.
  5. Create interference, disruption, or place an undue burden on the Service, such as, by sending excessive data or requests, storing excessively large amounts of data, or by artificially using excessive computational resources.
  6. Conduct cyberattacks against the Service, such as by sending malicious requests or attempting to compromise user accounts.
  7. Use the Service to conduct cyberattacks against a third party.
  8. Mine cryptocurrency using the Service.
  9. Circumvent security measures or tamper with the functionality of the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  1. Is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  2. Impersonates another person or entity, or misrepresents your relationship with another person or entity.
  3. Infringes upon intellectual property rights, such as patents, trademarks, trade secrets, or copyrights.
  4. You do not have a right to transmit, whether due to legal or contractual requirements, such as insider information, or confidential information learned during employment or covered under non-disclosure agreements.
  5. Is made solely for the purpose of advertisements or self-promotion.
  6. Contains malicious computer code or files intended to disrupt the normal operation of computer software or hardware equipment.

We reserve the right to remove content and user accounts, and implement technical measures, to deal with violations of the aforementioned restrictions.

Changes and discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any portion of the Service. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of all or any portion of the Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

Your use of the Service, and the user-generated content on the Service, is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permissible by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the Service or the user-generated content on the Service, and you rely on the Service and its content at your own risk.

Indemnification

You are responsible for any claims against us regarding your use of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any loss or damage incurred by us as a result of your use of the platform, including but not limited to legal expenses from actions, claims or disputes resulting from your use of the Service.
